James Danforth Quayle III (born February 4, 1947) was the 44th Vice President of the United States under George H. W. Bush (1989-1993). In 2000, he was an unsuccessful candidate to win the Republican nomination for President. YES - he would be a better candidate than Obama and he has/had much more experience - contrary to what the liberals said way back when...

RLP beat me to it . But also worth noting is that Dan got sucker-punched for mispelling 'potato(e)' , and realistically hardly any of the users on this site can spell simple words anyway . Plus the plural of 'potato' is 'potatoes'. .. .includes the 'e' . Not a big error .

Dan Quayle was one of the first victims of the Democrat policy of personal destruction that they have been directing against their opponents ever since. Lies, obfuscation and personal ridicule are the weapons of the Democrats. They did it to Quayle and they are doing it to Bush. *
