Yeah, be aware that the cost of housing will probably be close to triple. Get a real estate agent to help your relocation. You probably won't pay them anything as the seller or landlord will pay their fee.

if you are going to live in the Jacksonville area...i'd try Orange Park, or one of the suburbs along the coast. jacksonville can be a pretty rough town.

3
Great place one of the top 5 in the country you will love it!

4
Don't do it....find a better place to relocate...The other posters are right, if you can't afford Orange Park or near the Beach do not do it... Read Craigslist rant and raves section for anyplace you are considering moving...

5
good luck, Florida schools suck! rent, and cost of living is nuts! and the crime is out of this world!!

6
It would be helpful to know just why you have chosen Jacksonville, Florida specifically. Do you have relatives or friends already living there? What about the hurricanes and what about a possible sunnami (misspelled)?

It seems that the overwhelming opinion around here is that Jacksonville sucks. I think a place is what you make it for the most part. I've lived here for a little over 3 years. I relocated from a small town in Southeast Florida. Would Jacksonville be my first choice? No, but I think it's a pretty nice town. We have a great mayor and most people are pretty nice. Be careful of certain neighborhoods though. Things can get rough around here, it is afterall a big city. I would personally stay away from the Westside. The Northside is pretty spartan. The Beaches are a lot more expensive. You're best bet is on the Southside or nicer Arlington area. Use this link for researching neighborhoods. http://maps2.coj.net/crimestatsdiscl.asp?sJAxGIS=Y You click on Accept and it will take you to a map. Put the address in and it will give you crime statistics for the immediate area. I use this when we are looking to move. It is pretty accurate and can give you a good idea of where to stay far away from. At this website, http://swz.salary.com/CostOfLivingWizard/layouthtmls/coll_metrodetail_79.html there is a relocation calculator. Scroll down a bit and enter your city and Jacksonville, and your base salary. www.coj.net is Jacksonville's official city website. There are many links that you can go to that will be of help with relocating. As far as school's I can't be of much help. If you have questions feel free to email me and I will help you the best I can!

I am looking for the address for Yardley Court Condominiums in Indianapolis, Indiana 46268?
I have not found the address in the phone book or on the net. I know it is off of 86th street across from Brebeuf Preparatory School. I believe I have the correct name.

Well, I can't seem to find an actual address for the whole community, either, but I did find this one condo for sale if it helps to know what the buildings look like: http://www.callcarpenter.com/property/property.asp?PRM_MLSName=MIBOR&PRM_MLSNumber=2613688 And the address for Brebeuf Prep School is 2801 W. 86th Street, so if it's across the street from there then the address would have to be close to that number.

And if so did you like it or dislike it and do you think that they prepare you enough for your boards and tests. Thanks

This consumer site has posts by former students (under one post but other students responded) about the school and how it had suddenly closed down in some locations leaving students in the lurch: http://www.complaintsboard.com and can type into search and then click on the post in the results. For accredited schools of nursing: http://www.nlnac.org General career info: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search 'registered nurses', 'nursing and psychiatric aides' or such. For US colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ Please consider volunteering and/or job shadowing/observing those in the field. You may also want to get training to become a cna (certified nurse's aide) in order to find out if you feel at ease in that type of environment. (With training for cna, please forgo those private overpriced for-profit tech schools and instead consider the more affordable **county vo-tech school or community college** as long as the program is accredited within the industry.) This consumer site has posts by former students from various colleges about their experience: http://www.studentsreview.com and can search.

I am the Director of Program Development for Harrison College and think the nursing program we offer is very solid. I encourage you to contact our Indianapolis East campus location that offers the nursing program in Indianapolis and ask for more information and a tour of the facility. You can reach the campus by calling (317) 375-8000. The folks at the campus can also answer your questions about the rigor of the program and how it prepares you for the boards and tests.

Where can I find nursing schools for free in or around Indianapolis,Indiana?

I don't believe you are going to find a free nursing school anywhere. At least a 2 yr college degree, and in many states, a 4 yr bachelor's degree is required to be a registered nurse. That means...you have to go to college. You can apply for financial aid and student loans. Call junior or commujnity colleges in the area to learn about their program.

Free is not likely to happen, unless you can get some kind of REALLY good scholarship. When my mom was in nursing school at IUPUI, she also worked at the university's medical center, which helped defray a lot of her costs.

3
free nurseing training you will never get,but you can sign up to be a volunteer at your local hospital or nurseing home .some nurseing home will teach you to be a QNA with little or no money

Sorry, but I don't think there are any boarding schools in Indianapolis. Here are boarding schools in Indiana: Culver Academies Co-ed 9-12 Culver, IN Howe Military School & Summer Camp Co-ed 5-12 Howe, IN La Lumiere School Co-ed 9-12 La Porte, IN Culver Academies has a very good reputation, so you might investigate it. You can research US boarding schools on www.boardingschoolreview.com, www.boardingschools.com and www.petersons.com. For a wealth of information and misinformation, you can read these discussion boards http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/prep-school-admissions/ Good luck!

Where can I donate prom dresses in the Indianapolis, Indiana area?

Where can I donate prom dresses in the Indianapolis, Indiana area?
I have several gently used bridesmaid/prom dresses hanging out in my closet. I would absolutely love to find a place to donate them that gives them away for FREE to underprivileged teenagers, so they can attend their high school prom. Any insight or ideas?

Most schools have a such a program - you can check with North Central and Ben Davis to start - I THINK Broad Ripple does this too. Cool of you to do this!

We've had them donated to our website before. You're welcome to list them yourselves and just make sure people know they're free. You will want to charge a shipping fee, however, so you're not paying to give them away... probably about $15. That way you can reach a national audience and help someone at the same time. http://www.formalxchange.com Here's one I've listed: http://www.formalxchange.com/content/free-formal-or-prom-dress-rampage

Here is a link to state website that list all the schools in Indiana. You can click on Marion County and view a list of all the public schools and there are links to private and charter schools too. http://mustang.doe.state.in.us/dg/schools/welcome.html The public school system for that zip code would be MSD Pike Twp. For downtown Indianapolis it would be Indianapolis Public Schools. You might get a better answer if posted in one of the categories in: All Categories > Education & Reference and someone there might be able to help with the Ohio high school end of your question. Hope this info is helpful to you. CH

Cathedral is an excellent college-prep Catholic high school that welcomes students of other faiths. Financial aid is available for many of those who cannot afford the tuition.
